Excellent walleye fishing continues, with hot bites going in University Bay, Suamico, Deadhorse, and Geanos Reef. Crankbaits behind planer boards, crawler harnesses, jig/crawler, blade baits, and rippin raps are all taking fish. White Bass are working their way out of the Fox River, with edges of the shipping channel being a good place to find them. Jigging has taken the most fish. To the north, a good walleye bite has been found around Pensaukee, Oconto, and Green Island. If you go, be safe, and as always, take a kid fishing.
