The walleye bite has really improved over the past week. Walleyes are being caught on the shallow and deep breaks on both the east and west shores. Trolling cranks, crawler harnesses and rip jigging are working the best. Lots of perch are also being caught is 18 to 25 feet of water still using pieces of crawlers and small minnows. Fishermen are getting some nice pike by fishing the weed edges. The musky bite is improving with some nice fish being caught trolling and casting.
