The walleye bite continues to be very good out on Vincent Reef, Bay Shore, Chaudoir Dock on the east shore and Saumico, Geanos, Oconto on the west shore. Fishermen are still trolling cranks, crawler harnesses and rip jiggn for the walleyes. Perch fishing is still going strong at the locations I mentioned for walleyes fishing in 10 to 22 feet of water on the east shore and fishing the reefs and weed beds on the west shore. Minnows, night crawlers and leeches are working the best. Reports of some nice muskies being caught last week is a good sign that the bite is picking up. Casting bucktails, rubber and trolling cranks are working well. Remember to pick up weed guards before you start trolling for your muskies to improve your chances for muskies. Shore fishing by metro is doing very well perch, walleye, bass and pike are being caught. For more information give us a call at 920 593 1749. Yah, only at smokeys!!!
