The walleye bumper boat fest has begun on the Fox River. Walleyes are being caught from the mouth of the river to the dam in Depere. Lots of congestion at the ramps in Depere so fishermen are launching at Metro taking the 30 minute ride down to Depere trolling and jigging spots as they go. 30 minute ride is better than a long walk and hour wait time. Also at Metro the crappie bite just started, lots of nice ones being caught during the day. At night by Metro some nice walleyes, pike and some muskies(which are out of season) are being caught. The lower bay is just starting to open up so U-Bay should be rocking in the next couple of days. For more information give us a call at 920 593 1749. Yah, only at Smokeys!!!
