Walleye fishing on Green Bay remains good. In the Sturgeon Bay area, many walleyes are spawned out, but a few egg wagons have yet to spawn. Casting presentations with hair jigs and rippin raps have been good. Trolling the shorelines also has produced many fish, with #7 and 9 flicker minnows producing the most fish. The shipping canal remains as a good option too, with live bait rigging suckers putting both pike and walleyes in the boat. Remember, the current walleye limit on the Bay is 1 fish 15” or bigger until Saturday May 1st, when it switches to 5 fish 15” or bigger. Be safe and always take a kid fishing.
