Ice fishing has ended on the Fox River. Fox Point Launch is now open, lots of male walleyes and some females down by the Depere Dam. Some nice females are being caught by Metro as they are on their the way to the spawning grounds by the dam. Lots of boat traffic at Fox Point Launch by the end of the week Metro will be open and will save you time and headaches by launching at Metro. Smokeys has the lures and bait in stock at a fair price to make your fishing day enjoyable.
For ice fishing on the bay use extreme caution (DO NOT DRIVE ON THE ICE). Joliet Park, Dead Horse, Geanos and Hook Rd are still showing good signs of perch, notherns, walleyes and whitefish being caught.
