Walleye fishing continued its hot pace, despite the cold front with NE winds to 30 mph and air temps driving water temps down 8-12 degrees throughout Green Bay. The bite slowed considerably Thursday thru Saturday, but by Sunday it rebounded nicely, with good catches of fish on Frying Pan Shoal, University Bay, Vokes Reef, Vincent Point and Point Comfort. Big white bass were found in the shipping channel out by Grassy Island, and some good perch catches were observed by Geanos Reef and near Dykesville. If you get out, be safe, and take a kid fishing.
