The walleye bumper fest is going strong on the Fox River. Walleyes are being caught from the mouth of the river to the dam in Depere. Docks are still not in at most of the launches on the river. To avoid a long walk and wait time at the launches in Depere lots of fishermen are launching at Metro and fishing their way down to Depere. Also at Metro the crappie bite is going strong, walleyes and pike are being caught at night. The lower bay should be open in a couple of days so U-Bay should be rocking soon.
