Looks like we are coming to the end of 2021 open water fishing as many guides and fishermen are putting away their boats, getting ready for deer hunting and waiting for the ice season to begin. The hard core fishermen are still out there and catching some nice fish. If you are fishing on the Fox river the bite for walleyes has been slow during the day but the night fishing is producing some nice walleyes. Perch and Bluegills are being caught in small inlets, harbors and under the 172 bridge. Smallies are still being caught by the Depere Dam. Musky bite has been hit and miss. Your best bet for a trophy musky is to try fishing at night. Metro Launch is still on fire during the night with monster walleyes, huge pike and some really big muskies being caught.
