With these colder temperatures we are experiencing we are finding that the early morning bite is not as productive as late morning/afternoon. Once the sun has a chance to warm up the surface temps on the water it seems to make the fish more active. Walleyes are still being caught on the lower bay on the east and west shore. Vincent Point seems to be the hot spot right now either trolling or jigging. White Bass and crappies are still being caught in the Fox River and some nice northern pike are being caught by the warm water discharge by Metro Launch.
