Smokeys Weekly Fishing Report 1/25/22

Ice fishing should get a lot better and safer on the lower bay as the last ships are done sailing until spring. Remember to always use caution and call a guide or local bait shop if you are not familiar with the frozen waters you are going to fish. The Fox River by the dam is still producing walleyes. You can get on the ice by Voyager Park, Brown Cty Fair Grounds, Fox Point landing and on the west side of the 172 bridge. By Metro launch the whitefish, perch and northern pike are biting nicely. Fishermen are also catching some nice walleyes at night. Please stop by Smokeys so we can direct you to a safe place to fish on the ice at the mouth of the Fox River. Dead Horse Bay, Hook RD and Geanos reef on the west shore are producing some nice perch, northern pike and a few walleyes. On the east shore by Joliet Park, Vokes Reef and Bay shore park whitefish, perch and walleyes are being caught. For more information on where to go and what to use stop by the store or give us a call at 920 593 1749. Yah, only at Smokeys!!!
