Smokeys weekly fishing report 10/31/23

Fall walleye fishing is picking up pretty good with the added current we have on the Fox river flowing thru U-Bay. Fishermen are having luck catching walleyes trolling and jigging rock structure in U-Bay and the channel coming into the Fox River. The Fox river bite for walleye has been real good trolling the 172 flats and jigging structure by bridges, deeper holes and by the dam. Musky fishing has been hit and miss. More smaller 39 to 44 inchers have been caught but with this colder weather coming the big girls should be active. Trollling U-Bay, Saumico and the Fox River are your best bets for catching these fish. Some nice perch are being caught out of Bayshore, Saumico river and also in the Fox river. Fishermen are having a blast catching huge catfish in the Fox river while trolling for walleyes, cats are hitting on flicker minnows. Shore fishing by Metro and Voyager Park is picking up some nice walleye, pike and musky are being caught. Remember to take a kid fishing. For more information call us at 920 593 1749.
