Smokeys weekly Fishing Report 9/20/21

The perch and walleye fishing on the bay is still going strong. Both the east shore and west shore are producing some nice fish. Minnows are crawlers are the bait of choice for the perch and walleye fishermen are still trolling cranks, crawler harnesses and rip jiggn. Musky fishing is getting better and better everyday with the cooler temperatures we have been having. The muskies are starting to migrate from the west shore to frying pan shoal and eventually into U Bay and the river as bait fish start their fall spawning migration. Be careful if you are fishing by the Depere Dam last week they shut the flood gates which caused the river to drop in depth causing some headaches for local fishermen. Shore fishermen are still catching bass, perch, crappies and pike by metro launch. For more information give us a call at 920 593 1749. Yah, only at Smokeys!!!
