Fall is here which means the fish are in a feeding frenzy. On the bay perch and walleyes are still being caught on both the east and west shores. Perch are biting on minnows and the walleyes are still being caught trolling cranks, harnesses and rip jiggn. Muskies are being caught trolling cranks and some casting on the west shore. As the bay cools down the gizzard shad are starting to move into the river system which the walleyes and muskies will follow. Some walleyes are being caught down by the dam and some small muskies on the 172 flats. With fall we experience some strong winds, please be careful before venturing out on the bay if it is windy.
